Jagadhri, 16 August*. Congress MP Deepender Hooda said unemployment, inflation, crime and drug abuse are increasing non-stop in Haryana as BJP has ruined Haryana in 10 years. 

Continuing his relentless attacks on the collapse of governance in the state, he fiscal mismanagement has pushed Haryana into a debt trap and debt of the state is increasing non-stop, while there is a full stop on development work. “The Haryana government is talking about non-stop in its advertisements but is not telling what non-stop is,” he said.

Welcoming the announcement of elections in Haryana, he said the people of Haryana were eagerly waiting for this auspicious day. “At last that moment has come,” he said. Seeing the huge crowd gathered in his yatra, Deepender Singh Hooda said that the BJP government is now a guest of a few days and the time has come for it to leave. With every morning sun, the age of the BJP government in Haryana will be reduced by one day.

Deepender today took out a padyatra in Jagadhri assembly constituency under the Haryana Maange Hisaab Abhiyan,  where a large number of people kept walking with Deepender Hooda and slogans of BJP government ‘Hisaab do, jawab do’ kept reverberating. 

Deepender said the BJP government forced farmers, labourers, traders, employees, sportspersons, sarpanchs, Anganwadi workers, Asha workers and even school children to come on the streets to raise their voice for their rights. 

“The Olympic medal winning sportswomen daughters, who were demanding justice, were dragged on the streets of Delhi. Then no minister of the BJP government heard their plea. Today, when Haryana's players have returned to the country after winning medals, BJP ministers are getting photographed with them,” he stated.

He said there was discrimination against Haryana in the budget and even in the sports budget as Haryana was ignored. Deepender said that in the Olympics, 24 out of 117 players of the country were from Haryana, out of 6 medals won by the country, 5 were won by Haryana players, but in the sports budget of Rs 2,200 crores, Haryana was given only Rs 65 crores, while Gujarat was given 600 crores and UP was given 500 crores.

He said in the Lok Sabha elections, the public deflated the BJP's slogan of crossing 400. “In Haryana, the BJP government stopped all the schemes for the poor. Forget about giving 100-yard plots, Indira Awas Yojana, drinking water tanks, free water connections, taps, people were given water bills. The people of Haryana were entangled in portals, family ID, PPP and made to stand in queues,” he added. 

The youth of Haryana, who are facing unemployment, were entangled in CET, temporary recruitment. By introducing Kaushal Rozgar Nigam and Agneepath Yojana, they have trapped people in the web of temporary jobs without reservation, without merit and without pension. The BJP government, which is crushing the rights of SC, OBC society, has abolished 2 lakh permanent jobs in Haryana and has converted the remaining jobs into temporary jobs,” he pointed out.

Deepender said that when the Congress government is formed in the state, the elderly will be given old age pension of Rs 6000 per month, every family will get 300 units of free electricity, LPG cylinder for women at Rs 500, Old Pension Scheme for employees, treatment up to Rs 25 lakh at government expense. 

He said the Congress government would provide guarantee of MSP and highest price to farmers, timely recruitment of qualified Haryanvi youth on 2 lakh vacant government posts, free plot of 100 yards and 2 room house at the cost of Rs 3.5 lakh to poor families, backward class creamy layer income limit will be increased to Rs 10 lakh, Safai Karamchari, Gramin Chowkidar, MNREGA Mate will be made permanent. 

Deepender said the 'Padak Lao, Pad Pao' policy will be implemented again for sportspersons, caste census will be conducted, people would get freedom from anti-people portals, drug-free and crime-free Haryana and Haryana will be made number 1 in development, investment, education and health.
